- Using the Z9i with Blackberry Cell phones:
1. While the Z9i is connected to the Blackberry, enter the Bluetooth Setup menu and scroll down to the 'BlueAnt Z9i' device.
2. While 'BlueAnt Z9i' is highlighted, click the menu options button and select 'Device Properties'.
3. Scroll down to 'Echo Control' and set to the off position. In this same screen, some Blackberry cell phones also have a menu item called 'Automatic Volume Control'. If this is present, set it to the off position.
4. Save the settings to eliminate a conflict between the Blueant and Blackberry DSP.
